The ACLS’ Indigenous Relations Steering committee organized an engaging Indigenous Seminar for the National Surveyor’s Conference this year in Victoria, BC.
The theme of the seminar was “Shaping Our Land…Securing Out Future”, featuring a variety of speakers including Leah George-Wilson and Lisa Steele from LABRC, Cheryl Bryce of the Local Services Songhees Nation, Steve Minnie from the Surveyor’s General Branch and David S. Russell of Indigenous Services Canada.
