Tools for accessing the CLSR

Tools for Non CLS wanting Canada Lands Survey Records for surveys near Jurisdictional Boundaries. This seminar is intended to provide knowledge, to non CLSs, on how to access records and information within the Canada Lands Survey Records (CLSR).

Presenter: Mark Hatcher, CLS, Deputy Surveyor General and Director North

Mark is a graduate from the Centre of Geomatic Sciences (COGS) and the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Geomatics). Mark is a Canada Lands Surveyor (CLS), Nova Scotia Lands Surveyor (NSLS) and a Newfoundland Land Surveyor (NLS) as well as professional engineer (P.Eng.) Mark joined the Surveyor General Branch in 2009 and has worked in a variety of roles. He is currently the Director and Deputy Surveyor General – North.
