James Wilcox received his Canada Lands Surveyor commission in 2005 and has over 30 years of Geomatics experience.  He worked as a Field Hydrographer for 13 years with the Canadian Hydrographic Service and another 14 years leading hydrometric systems and geodetic projects with the Water Survey of Canada.   In 2018 he returned to the Canadian Hydrographic Service in Ottawa to work on maritime boundaries.
